How wallet verification works
Xaman
Xaman asks you to sign a SignIn pseudotransaction. It proves wallet ownership and is never submitted to the XRP Ledger. No XRP moves and no network fee is charged.
Joey Wallet
Joey asks you to sign a proof shaped like a 1-drop payment. LFG verifies the signature but never submits the payment to the XRP Ledger. No XRP moves and no network fee is charged.
Signing in is off-ledger. Minting, building, swapping, and trading may create real on-ledger transactions. LFG will show you what you’re approving before each request.
